Luang Prabang : Temples

There are many interesting wats in Luang Prabang besides Wat Xieng Thong.
Wat Mai has wonderful gilded stucco's.
You will see interesting painting on the inner walls of Wat Aham.
A walk up the central hill, will take you to Wat Chom Si. From there you can have a nice view at sunset over the Mekong river.
The temples mentioned here are not necessarily the most active in town, religiously speaking. But when you wander around town, you will see many other wats, with worshippers and monks.
